The Ohio at Marietta

This is a view looking north or upstream on the Ohio river . Marietta grew up at the mouth of the Muskingham River as it enters the Ohio and I was fascinated to learn the oceangoing ships were once built there and floated down the Ohio to the Mississippi River, then to Mew Orleans and into the Gulf of Mexico.
